DTF Center AI Connector: Privacy Policy

This policy covers the DTF Center connector (the "Connector"), the remote MCP server that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Meta Muse browse DTF Center products, quote prices, accept design files and create draft orders on your behalf. Purchases themselves are governed by the DTF Center store privacy policy.

What we collect

Tool inputs and outputs. When your assistant calls a tool (for example a product search, a price quote or an order), we log the tool name, its arguments, the result and timing. We use this to operate, debug and secure the service.
Design files you upload. Images you ask the assistant to send us are stored in DTF Center's Shopify file storage so they can be printed. Each file gets a URL that is attached to your order.
Order details. Line items, print placements, notes and, only if you provide it, your email address. These are sent to Shopify to create a draft order.
Technical data. IP address and request metadata, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

What we do not collect

We never see or store payment card data. Payment happens on Shopify's hosted checkout when you open the invoice link.
We do not receive your full conversation with the AI assistant, only the arguments the assistant passes to our tools.
We do not ask for passwords, government IDs or health information, and the Connector requires no account login.

How we use it

We use this data only to answer your request, print and fulfil your order, provide customer support, prevent abuse and improve the Connector. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising profiles.

The AI assistant you use (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Meta) handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Upload sessions expire after 30 minutes. Tool logs and uploaded design files are kept while needed to fulfil orders, handle reprints and support requests, meet tax and accounting obligations, and keep the service secure. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will remove anything we are not legally required to keep.

Your choices

You can disconnect the Connector in your AI assistant's settings at any time. To access, correct or delete your data, email info@dtfcenter.com.

Children

The Connector is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
